张公山风景区位于安徽省蚌埠市西南部，地属禹会区，主要由张公山公园、张公岛、张公湖、锦江大酒店、张公山宾馆、张公湖周边休闲绿地和服务场所组成。是蚌埠市旅游景区的一个重要组成部分。

　　张公山风景区以张公山公园为主体，1975年开工建设，规划面积174.8公顷，其中、陆地面积56.6公顷，山顶海拔71.2米。张公山风景区山水相映，景色秀丽，生态环境和自然条件十分优越，是一座在省内外知名度较高、各项服务功能较为齐全的大型综合性公园。2006年，被授予国家AAA级风景区。

　　随着改革开放的不断深入和城市建设的快速发展，张公山公园针对山林树木老化，树种单一的现状，先后进行了多次大规模植树绿化和山林改造，建成了“春园”、紫薇林和棕榈林，共栽植红叶李、广玉兰、雪松、棕榈、紫薇、龙柏等乔、灌木68000余株，植草坪2200平方米。同时，园内基础设施和景点建设日益完善。湖滨餐厅、水榭长廊、园中园、望淮塔、月季园、动物园、儿童乐园等景点项目相继建成。公园南、北大门也分别进行了改造。绿化特色逐步显现，建筑风格趋于统一。据统计：景区绿化覆盖率达92.05%，绿地率91.55%。2008年7月，以植物造景为主的张公湖休闲绿地开工建设，同年10月竣工完成。2009年5月，张公岛植物生态园和花卉、苗木基地开工建设。张公山风景区是集观光旅游、休闲娱乐为一体的综合性风景区。

　　主要景区有：
　　1、观光旅游景区，主要以张公山公园为主线，景区景点有望淮塔、园中园、水榭长廊、半山茶社。
　　2、儿童娱乐景区，位于公园西部，有大型、刺激、惊险的儿童游乐设施40余台。
　　3、动物观赏景区，位于公园西部，这里可以看到东北虎、非洲狮、金钱豹，梅花鹿、丹顶鹤、白虎、角马、剑羚等珍稀动物。每天的动物驯化表演，更受广大游客喜爱。
　　4、休闲度假景区，位于景区东部和南部，景点有张公岛、张公湖以及桥东绿地游园，有皖北地区五星级锦江大酒店。

　　张公山风景区依托交通区位优势，游览观光，方便快捷，离合肥骆岗机场驾车时间约1小时40分钟，距蚌埠火车站不足7公里，前往合徐高速南北进出口均为15分钟，市区公交111、120、122、123线路在景区均设有停靠站。

　　A Brief Introduction to Zhanggongshan Scenic Spot
　　Bengbu, the bright pearl near the Huai River, is an important central city of North Anhui Province. Zhanggongshan Scenic spot, whose main part is Zhanggongshan Park of Bengbu city, is a national AAA class scenic spot.

　　Zhanggongshan has a long-standing history.According to the record of the County Annals of Huaiyuan:"This hill(shan) was named in the Jiajing year(1523) of Ming Dynasty....."It was said a veteran general Zhang in Ming dynasty went back to his home town after retiring and lived a life of hermitage downhill. The local people called him the Revered Mr.Zhang,so Zhanggongshan is named after him.

　　Zhanggongshan scenic spot consists of Zhanggongshan Park, Zhanggong lake, Zhanggongshan island, Zhanggongshan hotel, Jinjiang grand hotel, recreational grassland around Zhanggong lake, and service places. It was built in 1975, and covers an area of 110.6hectares. Area of land takes up 56.6 hectares and the peak of the hill is 71.2 meters above sea level. The ecological environment and natural conditions here are superior with the hills and the waters forming a beautiful contrast and picturesque scenery. Here exists Viewing the Huai River Tower which is a landmark building of Bengbu City; Park in the Park ,a classical garden with the style of South Yangtze River area; the Huai River Stele Forest, namely, Zhanggongshan Stele Corridor, as well as pleasure boat dock, waterfront gallery, China rose garden, zoo, children’s paradise and so on. What’s more Zhanggongshan Hotel (three stars) and Jinjiang Grand Hotel (five stars) for tourism, business and recreation are also here. The fresh water and green hills of the whole scenic spot form an enchanting scene. Visitors will feel the existence of harmony between nature and human beings. It is really an ideal place for, holiday taking, leisure and recreation.

　　Park in the Park
　　“Park in the Park” refers to an architectural complex with a classical garden style of South Yangtze River area. Built in 1986, covering an area of 19.5 acres, it has orderly planning and reasonable layout With pavilions, stages ,towers ,cabinets and corridors appropriately located and fully integrated.It is rich in traditional garden characteristics.

　　In 1994, the Huai River forest of steles, namely, the corridor of steles was built in the park .Inside the corridor, carvings of 48 inscriptions of famous modern painters and calligraphers such as Lin Sanzhi, Wu Zuoren, Gu Tinglong, Ouyang Zhongshi and so on. are on display.

　　Viewing the Huai River Tower
　　Viewing the Huai River Tower is the landmark building in our city. This octagonal tower with 7 floors was built in 1986. It is 35.33 meters high and covers a construction area of 820 square meters. Zhao Puchu，the former Chairman of CPPCC and concurrently Chairman of the Buddhist Association of China, wrote the name for it. Climbing up the tower，you can get a bird’s eye view of the whole Bengbu city and a panoramic view of the Huai River.

　　Waterfront Gallery
　　Waterfront Gallery was built along the west bank of Zhanggong Lake. Inside of it the winding paths lead to quiet seclusion and the sceneries are in picturesque disordor. The Lake and the mountain enhance each other’s beauty, making people feel enchanted and cheerful. It is of natural style, yet it is also an integration of traditional classical beauty with modern innovation technology. It is antique, yet free from conventional pattern. Beside the gallery, the lake is rippling and the pleasure-boats are floating. It is really an ideal recreational and pleasure-seeking spot for tourists.

　　Children’s Paradise
　　The Children’s paradise was built in 1983, covering an area of about 30 acres. There are over 40 large and medium-sized highly breathtaking and risky recreational items such as rapids spray, space leap, bumper car, meteor hammer, Arab flying carpet, warrior’s turntable, providing entertainment space for children in our city.

　　Zoo
　　The zoo covers an area of 37 acres, and has 75 cages. Currently the total number of its 52 kinds animals has reached 384, among which are mainly rare and precious animals, such as northeast tiger, African lion, leopard, brown bear, spotted deer, red-crowned crane, elephant, white tiger, giraffe, gnu, sword oryx, etc. Moreover, the Zoo also presents animal training performances and sea lion performances, etc, which are greatly loved by tourists.

　　Teahouse
　　The teahouse of Zhanggongshan Park located in the east slope of the hill was first built in 1979. It is the earliest architecture in the park. Hidden and surrounded by green trees ,this architecture is ingeniously designed and built in a novel shape, with its main construction being grand, spacious and bright. Downstairs there is a fish pond and the first floor is connected to the second platform by an external hanging staircase. Flowers and plants are all around, such as bamboo and wisteria. With a cup of tea here tourists can develop more aesthetic pleasures and get relaxed.
